THE POPULARITY OF SUNKEN TRAMPOLINES
Sunken trampolines are becoming increasingly popular in child-friendly family gardens. Sinking a trampoline into the ground has a number of benefits; the first of which is aesthetic - they are less visible and obstructive to the appearance of a garden.
From a practical and safety perspective, there is clearly less of a distance for a child (or adult for that matter) to fall. Even the practicalities of a child getting on and off a sunken trampoline is much simpler.
On another practical level, as a sunken trampoline is embedded into the ground in place of the, say, lawned surface which was there before, there is no need to move the trampoline as you would a free-standing version to maintain the ground beneath. It isn't unheard of for a free-standing trampoline to be relocated with strong winds. This risk simply doesn't exist with sunken trampolines.
